Kepler discovered 11 new solar system

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, WASHINGTON - NASA space mission "Kepler" managed to find 11 new solar systems containing planets 26, said the United States Space Agency said in a statement Thursday.The findings were nearly double the number of planets that have been confirmed and three times the number of stars surrounded by a single planet. Such a system will help astronomers to understand how planets form an order.Planets that orbit close to the star at the center of their solar system and its size is estimated that one-half times the size of Earth and some even exceed the size of Jupiter. Estimated fifteen planets like Earth or Neptune-sized.Further observations are needed to determine whether the planet's solid surface like Earth or a thick blanket of Neptune's atmosphere. The planets are rotating around the sun in about six to 143 days. Everything is closer than the distance of Venus to the Sun."Based on the Kepler mission, we know about the chances of 500 ekso-planet in the galaxy," said Kepler program scientist, Doug Hudgins, at NASA Headquarters, Washington."When two years you looked at the stars in the sky no bigger than your fist, Kepler had discovered more than 60 planets and more than 2,300 candidates for the other planets," said Hudgins."It proves that our galaxy contains many less and orbit the planet," he said. Kepler, which launched in March 2009, is designed to find Earth-sized planets rotating around another star. Spacecraft that use large sized digital camera, called Photometer, to monitor the level of light emitted more than 1,500 stars that are in the field of view as the plane around the sun.Kepler's solar system scan range by searching for "stopping point", which reached the planet as it passes through a star, planet, causing it to dim. The New Planet Has Been Discovered

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, WASHINGTON - Kepler Mission of the agency United States (NASA) sure has found two Earth-sized planets orbiting a star like the Sun in our solar system, according to NASA as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (22/12)
NASA called this discovery is a milestone in the search mission Earth-like planets.
Both planets are named Kepler and Kepler-20e-20F is the smallest planets outside the solar system which was confirmed around a Sun-like star, according to NASA.
Both the new planet is too close to their stars to be called were in the zone occupied decent living (habitable zone) where there is a water liquid on the surface of the planet.
"This discovery shows for the first time that Earth-sized planets around other stars (out of the Sun) and that we are able to detect it," said Francois Fressin of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Both the new planet is believed to be a rocky planet. Kepler-20e somewhat smaller than Venus, with a radius 0.87 times that of Earth's radius.
Kepler-20F slightly larger than Earth with a radius of 1.03 times the radius of the Earth. Both of these planets are in the system of five planets that are named after Kepler-20, whereas the distance is 1,000 light-years away in the constellation Lyra.
Kepler-20e orbits its star every 6.1 days, while Kepler-orbiting every 19.6 days.Kepler 20F-20F, a temperature of 800 degrees Fahrenheit, similar to the average day of the planet Mercury. The temperature at the surface of the Kepler-20e which reached more than 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit, to melt the glass.
Kepler space telescope to detect planets and planetary candidates by measuring the light power more than 150,000 stars as planets pass in front of their stars.
